🌿 Meet the Maker

Hey y'all! I'm Sarah Shelton-James, herb grower, tea blender, beekeeper, yoga teacher, and former veterinary technician. I never set out to own a tea company or grow herbs for a living, but here I am, barefoot in the dirt most days, chasing bees and blessings in equal measure.

BWG Herbal Tea grew from my love of plants, people, and natural wellness. On my farm in Casscoe, Arkansas, I grow more than 30 medicinal herbs, each chosen for its beauty, flavor, and traditional herbal benefits. They're hand-harvested, slow-dried, and blended in small batches with care and intention.

In 2026, I was honored to be recognized as part of the North Arkansas County Farm Family of the Year, a reminder that caring for the land and sharing it with others is something worth celebrating.

The bees love the herbs as much as I do, and my farm dog, Willis, is usually nearby keeping watch while I plant, harvest, and dream up new blends. Around here, the land is part of the story. Every cup starts with a little dirt under my nails and a whole lot of heart.
